Are the Sports Center and Sports Dome open to the public?

Both the Sports Center and Sports Dome are primarily used on a per-rental basis. There are drop-in activities that are open to the public, including pickleball, volleyball, and use of the track. Visit the recreation activities page here.

Who uses the Sports Center and Sports Dome?

The space will be used by those associated with Schoolcraft College, TrinityElite Sports Performance, Michigan Wolves Soccer Club, Michigan Hawks, and Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy.

Is the space available to rent?

Yes, space in both the Sports Center and Sports Dome can be rented. For more information about rentals and availability, please contact the Recreation Department’s Business Office Manager at 734-462-4327.

Can we bring in outside food?

Outside food is not permitted inside the Sports Center or Sports Dome. Both locations have a self-service café with grab and go options. Food must remain inside the Welcome Center. No food permitted on the turf.

Café Hours: the café is self-serve and is open when the venues are open.

What sports/activities can be hosted at the Sports Complex?

We have hosted numerous tournaments, practices, tryouts and games at both the Sports Center and Sports Dome. Activities include but are not limited to: Soccer, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Football, Rugby, Softball, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Track and Field/Cross Country. Please reach out to us for your scheduling needs!

Can I golf at the Trinity Health Sports Dome?

The Trinity Health Sports Dome is not an open golf center. There is a Golf Dome located near the Trinity Health Sports Dome on 5 Mile just east of Haggerty Rd. in Plymouth.

What type of shoes can I wear inside the Trinity Health Sports Dome?

Depending on the activity, we ask that no metal cleats be used on the indoor field of the Trinity Health Sports Dome. Other cleats, turf shoes and tennis shoes are appropriate for use. For further questions, please contact the team/organization renting the space. No cleats of any kind are permitted on the volleyball courts.

Are pets allowed?

No animals are allowed inside the TrinityElite Sports Center, Trinity Health Sports Dome or on the outdoor turf. Only trained service animals are permitted.

Is Schoolcraft College a smoke-free campus?

Yes. Use of all tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is prohibited in all campus buildings, sidewalks, building entrances, common areas, and college-owned vehicles, with the exception of use in private vehicles. This includes all facilities associated with the Trinity Health Sports Complex.
